Wallet, Session Boosters & Payment Terms

How money works in Soulviera: your wallet, what each charge means, refunds and tax.See also: Terms of service · Dating plan terms

1. Your wallet

Your wallet holds prepaid money in Indian rupees (INR) that you spend on Soulviera services.

  • The wallet pays for chats, audio and video calls with listeners, scheduled calls, Session Boosters, and paid calls with your dating matches where your plan charges for them.
  • Dating plans are bought separately through Google Play, the App Store or Razorpay. They are not paid from the wallet.
  • Wallet money does not expire while your account is open. It is not a deposit, earns no interest and is not transferable to another account.
  • The wallet cannot go below zero: a session ends automatically when the balance is used up.

2. Adding money

You choose an amount to add. In India the amount you add is the amount credited to your wallet; tax is added on top.

  • Example: to add ₹1,000 you pay ₹1,180 (₹1,000 plus 18% GST). ₹1,000 is credited to your wallet. If you then spend ₹100, ₹900 remains.
  • Android: payments are processed by Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking). iPhone: purchases are made through Apple In-App Purchase and priced by the App Store.
  • If you pay in another currency, the amount shown to you includes the exchange rate and any tax before you confirm. The wallet is always credited in INR.
  • You will see the payment reference and receipt for each top-up in your wallet history. A tax invoice is available for payments that carried tax.
  • If money was taken but the wallet was not credited, it is normally credited automatically within minutes. If not, contact us with the payment reference and we will correct it or refund you.

3. Session charges

  • The rate per minute is shown before you start. Chats and calls are billed for every minute you start; the first 15 seconds of a session are free.
  • The end-of-session slip shows the session amount first, then any Session Boosters listed separately by name and amount, then the total deducted.
  • The listener's earnings come from what you pay. The platform keeps a commission (50% by default) from session charges.

4. Session Boosters

A Session Booster is a small optional extra you can send to a listener while a chat or call is running.

  • Boosters can only be sent during a live session. The price is shown before you send and is deducted from your wallet at once.
  • The picture next to a booster is shown only in the booster sheet during a live session. Everywhere else, boosters appear as a name and an amount.
  • Boosters are billed separately from the session. On your slip they are listed with their names and amounts. The listener sees what they receive after the platform's commission (50%).
  • A booster is a voluntary payment for a listener's time and attention. It has no cash value, cannot be returned, exchanged or withdrawn, and is not refundable once sent, except where a payment error or the law requires it.
  • Sending a booster does not entitle you to any particular outcome, relationship, contact detail or service.

5. Scheduled calls

When you request a scheduled call, its price is held from your wallet until the call is completed, declined, cancelled or settled. The rules for refunds and no-shows are in the Terms of Service, section 7. In brief:

  • Declined, expired, withdrawn before an answer, or cancelled by the listener: 100% back to your wallet.
  • You do not join within 5 minutes of the start: 50% is charged and the rest refunded.
  • The listener does not join: 100% back to you.
  • Completed: the full price is charged.

6. Refunds

  • Wallet money that has been added is not refundable, except for a failed or duplicated payment, an unauthorised charge, a verified technical billing error, or where the law requires.
  • A charge you believe is wrong: tell us from Help & Support with the order id from your wallet history, and we will check the call, chat and payment records.
  • If a payment is refunded by Razorpay, Google or Apple, the matching credit is taken back from your wallet. If you have already spent part of it, the difference is recorded and reviewed by our team.
  • Refunds go back to the original payment method (or the wallet, where the amount was held for a scheduled call). Banks and payment providers can take 5 to 7 working days.

7. Tax and invoices

  • GST at 18% is added to top-ups paid through Razorpay in India. Purchases made through Google Play or the App Store are taxed and invoiced by the store.
  • Taxes for other countries are shown before you pay where they apply.
  • Receipts and, where tax was charged, tax invoices are available from your wallet history.

8. Security and fraud

  • Payments are made on the payment provider's own screens. Soulviera never sees your card number, UPI PIN or CVV.
  • We may delay, reverse or block a transaction we reasonably believe is fraudulent, and may close an account used for fraud, chargeback abuse or money laundering.
  • Never pay anyone outside the app, and never share an OTP. Soulviera staff will never ask for it.

9. Contact

For payment problems write to info@soulviera.com or use More > Help & Support, with your order id or payment reference.
