Community Guidelines

Soulviera works because people feel safe here. These are the rules that keep it that way.See also: Terms of service · Safety

Last updated 11 October 2026

1. A safe, kind space

Soulviera is a place for honest conversation and real connection. Treat every listener, coach and member the way you want to be treated. These rules apply in chats, calls, scheduled calls, profiles, photos, reviews and the dating space.

2. Not allowed

  • Harassment, bullying, threats, intimidation, stalking, blackmail or hate speech, including about caste, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or nationality.
  • Sexual content or conduct: nudity, sexual talk, sexual solicitation, or pressuring anyone for sexual content. Offering or asking for sexual services, escort services or paid companionship.
  • Impersonation, fake profiles, other people's photos, celebrity or AI-generated photos passed off as you.
  • Scams and fraud: asking for money, loans, tips, UPI or bank transfers, investment schemes, or trying to get a refund dishonestly.
  • Taking people off the platform: asking for or sharing phone numbers, WhatsApp, Telegram, social media or email, or paying outside the app.
  • Illegal content, violence, self-harm encouragement, drugs, weapons, or anything that exploits or endangers a child.
  • Spam, advertising, recording another person without consent, or sharing someone else's private information.

3. Profiles and photos

  • Use real, recent photos of yourself. No nudity, no minors, no other people without their consent, no contact details or links in your photos or bio.
  • Listener and dating profiles are reviewed by our team before they are shown. A photo or profile that breaks the rules is rejected, and you will be told why.
  • Changes to an approved profile are reviewed again before they appear.

4. Chats and calls

  • Be respectful. You can end a chat or call at any time without giving a reason.
  • Listeners are not doctors or therapists and will not give medical advice. Do not ask a listener to meet you, and do not offer money for anything outside the app.
  • Your conversations are private to the people in them, but our team may review messages when a report is made.

5. Dating safety (18+)

  • Dating is for adults only. Accounts that appear to belong to someone under 18 are closed.
  • Be honest about who you are. Respect a "no". Do not pressure anyone for contact details, photos or money.
  • Soulviera never shows your phone number, email or location to other members. Keep it that way: do not share them.
  • Soulviera is not for paid dating, escorting or any sexual service. Doing so leads to permanent removal and, where required, a report to the authorities.
  • Meet only inside the app. We do not support arranging in-person meetings through Soulviera.

6. Child safety standards

We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and any content or behaviour that sexualises or endangers a child.

  • Soulviera is for adults only. We close accounts that appear to belong to a minor and erase their data.
  • Photos and profiles are reviewed by our team before they are shown in the dating space and on listener profiles.
  • Anyone can report a person or content in the app (the report button on a profile or in a chat). Reports about children are handled first.
  • We remove violating content, permanently close the account, preserve the evidence the law requires and report to the authorities, including the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal and the police, as the law requires.
  • To report child safety concerns directly: info@soulviera.com.

7. Report and block

  • Report: open a listener's profile, a match's profile or a chat menu and tap the report (flag) button. Choose a reason and, if you want, add details. Our team reviews every report.
  • Block: block a listener or a match from their profile. A blocked person cannot contact you, see your profile or send you Session Boosters, and any live session with them ends.
  • You can also write to us from More > Help & Support.

8. What we do about violations

Depending on how serious it is and whether it has happened before, we may remove content, send a warning, restrict features, suspend or permanently close an account, withhold payouts connected to fraud, and report to the authorities where the law requires. Serious violations (child safety, threats, sexual exploitation, fraud) lead to permanent removal straight away. You can ask us to review a decision at info@soulviera.com.

9. If you or someone else is in crisis

Soulviera is not an emergency service. If you or someone you are talking to may harm themselves or others, end the session and contact:

  • Tele-MANAS (Government of India, 24/7 mental health helpline): 14416 or 1800 891 4416 (toll-free).
  • KIRAN mental health helpline: 1800-599-0019 (toll-free).
  • National emergency number (India): 112.
